Programming

FIRST robots can be programmed in C/C++, Java, or LabVIEW. Here we’ve compiled a list of several resources aimed at helping you get your competition robot up and running.

JAVA and C/C++ are included in the library of tutorials offered by The New Boston.

LabVIEW

LabVIEW, with its graphics interface, is the preferred programming language by more than half of FRC Teams. Here are the top sites:

FRC Mastery is a great place to work on those programming skills.

The MN FRC LabVIEW Forum is hosted by Jed Retherford of National Instruments. It is recommended that a mentor and a lead programmer from each team sign up and monitor this forum.
